Clean eating is not only beneficial for your health but also incredibly easy and delicious! Here’s a simple guide to help you get started.

Step One: Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate!

We are essentially cucumbers with anxiety. The average human body is composed of roughly 55% to 78% water, and most of us are dehydrated. Hydration is crucial for several reasons:

  • Regulates Body Temperature: Water helps maintain a stable body temperature.

  • Supports Digestion: Proper hydration aids in digestion and nutrient absorption.

  • Improves Skin Health: Staying hydrated can lead to healthier, more radiant skin.

  • Boosts Energy Levels: Dehydration can lead to fatigue and decreased performance.

  • Enhances Brain Function: Adequate water intake is essential for optimal cognitive function.

Cool, crisp, and naturally revitalizing — perfect for hot days or post-workout refreshment.

    Ingredients

    • 1 large lemon, sliced into thin rounds

    • 8–10 fresh mint leaves

    • 4 cups cold filtered water

    • Ice (optional)

    Instructions

    1. Add lemon slices and mint leaves to a large pitcher or glass jar.

    2. Pour in cold water and stir gently to release flavors.

    3. Let it infuse in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before drinking.

    4. Serve over ice for extra chill.

    5. Refill with water once or twice using the same lemon and mint before replacing.

Tip: Lightly crush (muddle) the mint leaves before adding to release more flavor.

Step Two: Whole Fresh Healthy Foods

Choose whole, fresh, and healthy foods, and opt for organic when possible. Incorporating these foods into your diet can significantly improve your overall health. Here are some tips:

  • Fruits and Vegetables: Aim for a variety of colors to ensure a range of nutrients.

  • Whole Grains: Choose whole grains over refined grains for added fiber and nutrients.

  • Lean Proteins: Incorporate sources like chicken, fish, beans, and legumes.

  • Healthy Fats: Include sources such as avocados, nuts, and olive oil in your diet.
